<h5>Four newcomers and a new No. 1 in the second edition NCISAA Top 10 Power Rankings. Take a look at the latest happenings after another week. </h5>

<h5>10) United Faith Christian Academy (8-2)</h5>
<h6>Last Rank: NR</h6>
<p>United Faith Christian Academy is on the list for one reason: [player_tooltip player_id="932129" first="Xavier" last="McKelvy"]. He’s an underrated Winthrop signee that plays a winning brand of basketball that’s finding its way to his teammates on the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="1111219" first="Marcus" last="Willis"] is another name that’s playing well too, posting 16.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 4.2 apg. 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="1204932" first="Alex" last="Bates"] is a name to know as well with his ability to attack and defend. They’ll face No. 9 Greenfield on Friday, Cape Fear Christian Academy on Saturday, Piedmont Classical on Monday then Concord Academy on Tuesday.</p>
<h5>9) Greenfield School (7-2)</h5>

<p>Greenfield School took their first two losses of the season since the first edition of power rankings. With losses to Moravian Prep and Trinity Academy Raleigh, the Knights should be better off when conference play arrives. [player_tooltip player_id="848068" first="Aaron" last="Murphy"] (Queens) and [player_tooltip player_id="1076333" first="Hampton" last="Evans"] continue to do their thing while they look to find continuity in the backcourt with [player_tooltip player_id="1277989" first="Matt" last="Kirby"], [player_tooltip player_id="1277988" first="Micah" last="Sherrod"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1145483" first="CJ" last="Alston"] as a few names to know. They’ll square off against United Faith Christian on Friday, then face St. David’s on Tuesday.</p>
<h5>8) Providence Day School (8-3)</h5>

<p>Providence Day School finds themselves in the second edition of rankings as they ride a 5-game winning streak into the weekend. Unsigned floor general [player_tooltip player_id="848075" first="Quave" last="Propst-Allison"] leads the way for the Chargers with [player_tooltip player_id="854899" first="Trey" last="Horton"] and unsigned senior [player_tooltip player_id="848078" first="Bryce" last="Scott"] in tow as well. They’re a well-rounded group with potential. They’ll face Metrolina Christian on Friday then Weddington on Saturday before Concord Academy on Monday and West Charlotte on Tuesday.</p>
<h5>7) Wayne Country Day School (10-2)</h5>

<p>Wayne Country Day School finds themselves at the No. 7 spot following a loss to Cape Fear Academy on Dec. 7. They’re back in the win column again already with a win over West Carteret this past Saturday. 2023 wing/forward [player_tooltip player_id="848089" first="Collin" last="Tanner"] is playing impressively, producing 25.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg and 1.5 spg through their first 12 games. Jordan ooper is another name playing well, putting up 12.0 ppg, 3.8 apg and 3.1 rpg. [player_tooltip player_id="1338306" first="Carlos" last="Vasquez"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1120961" first="Kayleb" last="Coles"] are ones to track in the 2024 class.</p>
<h5>6) Gaston Day School (8-1)</h5>

<p>Gaston Day School is another squad that’s entered the NCISAA Top 10 Power Rankings following an impressive start to the 2021-22 season. They’ve won four games in a row and counting led by their guard trio of [player_tooltip player_id="574463" first="Chris" last="Britt"], [player_tooltip player_id="1155694" first="Colin" last="Fayed"] and [player_tooltip player_id="993656" first="Evan" last="Montanari"]. 2023 big man [player_tooltip player_id="854914" first="Callum" last="Richard"] is another one to keep an eye on with his upside. They’ll face Westchester Country Day on Friday night and Calvardy Day School on Monday then Covenant Day on Wednesday. </p>
<h5>5) Trinity Academy Raleigh (8-1)</h5>

<p>Trinity Academy Raleigh finds themselves at the fifth spot in the second edition of NCISAA Top 10 Power Rankings with an 8-1 record. They’ve won three games in a row since dropping their first game of the season to Word of God back on Dec. 4. Since then, [player_tooltip player_id="848082" first="Noah" last="Ross"] (UNC-Wilmington) and [player_tooltip player_id="838046" first="Sam" last="Perez"] (Furman) have found their stride a bit with [player_tooltip player_id="1014991" first="Kevon" last="Vanderhorst"] running things at the point guard spot. They’ll face Northwood Temple this Friday then Northside Christian on Thursday.</p>
<h5>4) Charlotte Latin (9-0)</h5>
<h6>Last Rank: No. 7</h6>
<p>Charlotte Latin has been a pleasant surprise in the 2021-22 season as they continue their climb up the power rankings to the fourth spot. They’ve got recent victories over Ardrey Kell and Davidson Day under their belt with Christ the King coming up on Friday and Wesleyan Christian on Monday and Rabun Gap on Tuesday. [player_tooltip player_id="1219884" first="Ned" last="Hull"], [player_tooltip player_id="854915" first="Sean" last="Rose"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1336317" first="Brandon" last="Lavitt"] have their squad playing well and in prime position to make a move. </p>
<h5>3) The Burlington School (10-2)</h5>
<h6>Last Rank: No. 1</h6>
<p>The Burlington School finds themselves on the outside looking in at the number 1 spot following a tough loss to Word of God Academy this past week. They’re a squad led by [player_tooltip player_id="577871" first="Avion" last="Pinner"], [player_tooltip player_id="577836" first="Kheni" last="Briggs"], [player_tooltip player_id="854890" first="Kobe" last="George"] and a few others that should continue to contend for the top position in the power rankings. Another 2023 prospect to know is guard Myles Hooker. They’ve got some solid games to close out the month including 12/22 against JL Chambers and 12/23 against Millbrook High.</p>
<h5>2) Carmel Christian (10-0)</h5>
<h6>Last Rank: No. 3</h6>
<p>Carmel Christian finds themselves a spot higher than the last edition of rankings as they remain unbeaten on the season. They’re another squad with recent victories over Cannon School (12/10) and Cary Academy (12/11) as they continue their impressive season. They’ll be a top contender once again for the NCISAA 4A State title with [player_tooltip player_id="1008879" first="Cade" last="Tyson"] (Belmont) and unsigned senior guards [player_tooltip player_id="932138" first="Logan" last="Threatt"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1274301" first="Nyles" last="Howard"] leading the charge for them. They’re a talented, well-coached group with a ton of potential as a state title contender.</p>
<h5>1) Greensboro Day School (13-0)</h5>

<p>The Greensboro Day Bengals find themselves at the top of the NCISAA Top 10 Power Rankings after winning another five games since the last edition. The Bengals got a big win over Cannon School, 53-46, back on Dec. 3 and haven’t looked back. 2023s [player_tooltip player_id="577888" first="Jaydon" last="Young"] and [player_tooltip player_id="577876" first="Julius" last="Reese Jr"]. are a few unsigned names to know for this squad. They’ll get all they can handle this weekend from Calvary Christian Academy on Friday in the City of Palms Classic. </p>
