Amani Johnson 6’2 Guard of Salesian Prep HS 2024
Johnson plays with good intensity on the defensive side of the ball. He has a solid body and moves well laterally defending on the perimeter. He’ll fight through screens, and can be an annoying defender playing up close on his man. Offensively he can handle well enough to get into the paint for a shot. He can spot up along the 3-point line and hit one in rhythm. He’ll help on the boards. In his second game he had 11pts, 6rebs.
Alvin Loving Alvin Loving 6'4" | CG Salesian College Preparatory | 2025 State #343 Nation CA-N 6’3 Guard of Salesian Prep HS. 2025
Loving has a good understanding of the game as a first year Varsity player. He started and was a solid contributor to his team. His shooting motion needs some adjustments, but he’ll wind up, and knock down the corner 3 if left unattended, he had five 3’s in three games. He’s a big guard who can be effective when he gets into the paint. He has good balance and plays under control. He’ll hit the boards. His best game produced 12 pts, 7rebs.
Tyler Bergren 5’6 PG of Campolindo HS 2024
Bergren a scrappy little point guard who comes off the bench and understands his role when he gets into the game. Bergren is a good ball handler who runs the offense, he’ll attack the gaps looking to collapse the defense to find open shooters on the kick-out pass. He’s low to the ground with good footspeed to stay in front of ball handlers. His best game was 11pts, 6 assists.
Jasir Rencher 6’5 Forward of Archbishop Riordan HS 2025.
The long athletic Rencher doesn’t log heavy minutes right now, but he does come into the game looking to do some damage. He’s still figuring things out at this level, but he’ll defend on the wings and help in the post area rebounding, He’ll run the court, and looks for his shot. He has good potential, we’ll see how he develops going forward. He’s on Wright’s Watch List.
Jalen Stokes 6’4 Guard of Dublin HS 2025
Stokes is a going to be a good player as he progresses through the season. He’ll have his ups and downs like any Freshman playing Varsity. He’ll help this team with his size and understanding of the game. He can guard multiple positions, handle the ball a bit, and he’ll help on the boards. He’ll take care of the ball, and his passing is solid.
