We expect the Bombers to remain at the top of the RRC, and Hermann is the biggest reason why. Despite a number of key losses to graduation, Ballard is still going to be formidable, and Hermann's ability to dominate games on both ends of the floor is the catalyst.

First Team

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962491" first="Ashton" last="Hermann"], Ballard: 16.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 3.3 steals, 51.4 FG%

Hermann is one of the best two-way guards in the state, a dynamo who turns defense into offense in the blink of an eye. He's a blur in the open court and can put up points in bunches. With the Bombers losing a lot to graduation, he'll have a lot more on his plate this season, but he's certainly capable of handling it.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="682289" first="Jevin" last="Sullivan"], North Polk: 19.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals, 39.5 3P%, 77.5 FT%

A big, physical, and skilled wing who is built like a linebacker, Sullivan can score from all three levels and dominate the glass as well. He has a smooth jumper, great footwork, and excellent length that he uses effectively on both ends of the floor. He's the leading returning scorer in this very talented league.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id="956874" first="Colby" last="Collison"], Bondurant-Farrar: 18.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 59.0 FG%, 50.8 3P%, 76.0 FT%

A 6-5 wing with an excellent feel for the game, Collison put up big numbers last season for the Blue Jays with very impressive shooting splits. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of Collison's game is his patience. He knows exactly when he needs to take over a game as a scorer, otherwise, he'll just let it naturally come.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="1158412" first="Levi" last="Gurwell"], Winterset: 16.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.8 steals, 45.9 FG%

Gurwell had a breakout season last year, leading the Huskies in scoring while raising his average by 14 points a game. He's a solid ball-handler and finisher around the rim and is armed with a really good mid-range game.

2022 [player_tooltip player_id="962631" first="Kaleb" last="Booth"], Carroll: 15.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.4 steals, 49.3 FG%, 44.6 3P%, 83.6 FT%

Booth is one of the better shooters in the state, especially with his ability to shoot it off the dribble. He creates his own shot at a high level and is a good passer with excellent court vision as well.
