This year, there will be talent for coaches at all levels to see. Let’s Get Ready V has some players that can make some huge statements at the event.
Here are 5 of those prospects:
Jayden Hardiman Jayden Hardiman 6'7" | C Ferndale | 2023 State MI (Warren Mott)
Hardiman was flat out nasty at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250. He was just too strong physically for a lot of his opponents. Hardiman was an influence on both ends of the floor as well. If he can continue to be physical and show a couple post moves and counter moves, many heads will turn at this event.
Preston Malpass Preston Malpass 6'7" | PF East Jordan | 2024 MI (East Jordan)
Malpass had some really big moments and nice outings over the course of grassroots season. He showed a passion and desire to do some dirty work in the lane. Malpass also showed the ability to get out in transition and be threat to finish. Showing off these aspects of his game at Let’s Get Ready could send a huge message.
Brennan McKenzie Brennan McKenzie 6'0" | PG Adrian | 2023 FL (Adrian)
McKenzie’s name is picking up steam. He had a solid showing at one of the Flight Hankamp Open Runs, and probably even topped that at the Top 250. His perimeter defense was more than solid and he did a really nice job setting the table and handling the ball at the Top 250. McKenzie was an efficient and very effective passer in Grand Rapids. If he continues to show improvement and consistency, his name is about to really pop.
Ben Roach (Hartland)
Roach’s name picked up steam as the spring and summer played on. His skills really started to stand out and his upside is definitely showing through. Roach is an energy player that wins hustle points for his team. He has a nice jumper and has shown athleticism and the ability to take the ball to the rim and finish through the defense.
EJ Ryans EJ Ryans 6'4" | SG Northview | 2024 State #224 Nation MI (Northview)
I’ve always been very high on Ryans as a player and prospect. He has a huge upside, and in my opinion, is an elite perimeter player in the class of 2024. Ryans can play on and off the ball and, because of his efficiency with the ball and his scoring acumen, doesn’t have to be ball or shot dominant to have a huge influence on the game. Ryans could absolutely take over at Let’s Get Ready V.
