2023 Rankings: Top Power Forwards and Posts

<p>The Junior class rankings have expanded all the way out to nearly 130 players already. This is possibly the best class of prospects since Prep Hoops Kentucky launched. A dozen prospects already have D1 offers and twice that many could have D1 offers a year from now. Here’s a look at the best power forwards and posts in the updated 2023 Rankings.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="801613" first="Tyson" last="Barrett"], Frederick Douglass - Barrett is a long and athletic 4 man who is still working on transitioning to being a wing. Tyson is a fantastic rebounder and plays above the rim on offense. He should be one of the best players in the 11th region this season.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1215546" first="Christian" last="Collins"], Breathitt County - Christian is a lot like Tyson as he's an athletic 6'8 4/5 whose skills could eventually put him on the perimeter some. Collins transferred from Buckhorn and should make Breathitt a top 25 team this season and a contender to make a run at Rupp in March.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1108411" first="Trent" last="Edwards"], George Rogers Clark - Trent, like Christian and Tyson, is a 2022 who is using the extra year to keep getting stronger and developing his wing skills. Edwards is long and a very fluid athlete with a high ceiling as a prospect and continues to improve as a ball handler and shooter.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1043602" first="Jaden" last="Biggers"], Bryan Station - Biggers is a candidate for biggest breakout in the 11th region if he has a regular season like how his summer went. Jaden is very young for the 23 class and has a high ceiling as a prospect. He could have a double-double every night out this season if he can avoid foul trouble.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="932777" first="Chandler" last="Starks"], Covington Catholic - Chandler is a strong post with the ability to post up or face up on offense. Cov Cath actually runs some offense through him in the high post at times. Starks is also a good rebounder and knows how to use his big frame to carve out space on both ends of the court.</p>
