Prep Hoops takes a look at some names to keep a eye out for in the 2023 Palmetto State Class. These players will be playing in the SCISA Class 1A-2A ranks.

[player_tooltip player_id="865320" first="David" last="Johnson"] - Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt)

Johnson has been hampered by injuries for AJA over the past year. Johnson is back to lead the Confederates offense for Head Coach Josh Barnes. Johnson averaged 5.9 ppg last season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1135937" first="Lawson" last="Wade"] - Richard Winn Academy (Winnsboro)

Wade is a bit of a one-trick pony at times with a sweet looking shooting stroke. Lawson a rangy guard has a good looking stroke from behind the arc. Wade averaged 13.3 ppg while making 38 three pointers last season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1135936" first="David" last="Elam"] - Mead Hall (Aiken) (pictured on front)

Elam a left-handed slender guard is back to lead Mead Hall after playing this summer with Keenan HS. Elam was a once man band at times last season for his Panthers squad. Elam has the ability to score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor and really looks to swarm the ball on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id="865343" first="Keshaun" last="Wright"] - Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach

Wright is a new addition to the Saints roster this season after transferring in from Andrews HS. Wright a slashing guard played really well this summer on the Grassroots Circuit. Wright has a great nose for the ball and never takes plays off. Keshaun seems to be most effective from the mid-range game with his play.

[player_tooltip player_id="1108826" first="Greyson" last="Singletary"] - Dillon Christian

Greyson can really let it FLY from downtown. Singletary has a quick shot release and is always shot ready to receive ball. Greyson averaged 13.2 ppg and made 61 three pointers last season for the Warriors. Dillon Christian lost in the SCISA Class 2A State Championship Game to Spartanburg Christian Academy.

[player_tooltip player_id="922021" first="Rivers" last="Dickerson"] - Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach

Dickerson plays so much bigger than his size down in the paint. Rivers a left-handed undersized post player plays the game with so much energy and determination down on the block.

[player_tooltip player_id="1278636" first="Hudson" last="Spivey"] - Pee Dee Academy (Mullins)

Spivey averaged 17.6 ppg last season for the Golden Eagles. Spivey 6’4 also excels on the football field as Quarterback on Friday nights in the fall. Spivey threw for 1,850 yards while hitting on 22 touchdown passes as a sophomore.
