PH was at the main gym where there were 10 games on the day. We saw a handful of 2024 prospects who played well, and will no doubt be an asset to their teams in the upcoming season. We should also keep an eye on this group when they go off to play with their club teams in July.
Ben Roseborough Ben Roseborough 6'3" | SG Bella Vista Prep | 2024 #158 Nation AZ 6’4 Guard of Sacramento HS 2024
A top player in the class of 2024. He’s a scoring guard who can rack up points in a hurry. He has a quality set of skills that allow him to score in multiple ways. He has good handles, a solid body, and plays under control most of the time. He attracts a lot of attention, and still manages to be productive on the offensive end.
Jalen Woodard 6’2 W/F of Sheldon HS 2024
Woodard was a key contributor off the bench for the Huskies as they went on to win the title at this event. He’s a calm player that helps his team in different ways. He won’t stuff the stat sheet but, he’ll take advantage of any scoring opportunities that may come his way. At 6’2 he’ll scrap for rebounds on both ends, get points filling the lanes in transition, and play solid defense when he’s on the court. He’ll finish inside, and take care of the ball.
Tyler Jones Tyler Jones 6'2" | PG Archbishop Mitty | 2024 State CA-N 6’1 PG of Archbishop Mitty HS 2024
Jones has been playing good basketball lately. He looks like he’ll be a solid contributor to the Monarchs program for the next couple of seasons. He’s going through that learning curve, yet he’s been productive on the court. He brings an improving skill set, and good intensity. He can play both guard positions right now, but has point guard written all over him. We’ll see more of him.
Isaiah Davis 6’3 G/W of Modesto Christian HS 2025
He’s athletic, and kind of raw right now but he showed us some good things while on the court. He has a awkward release on his jump shot. He’s got the length, and the foot speed to be an excellent player over time. He runs the court, can defend more than one position. He has the confidence, and is somewhat aggressive looking to score.
Cole Epperson 6’5 Wing of Jesuit HS 2024
He was a solid contributor off the bench for Jesuit. He’s long, and slender with a good shot from the 3pt area, and he looks to shoot it when the opportunity is there. He runs the court pretty well getting himself into position to shoot. He knocked down a few from the wings, and corner on the catch and shoot. He’ll have to get stronger, but he has a reliable 3pt shot.
