Terrence Hill Jr Terrence Hill Jr 6'3" | PG Roosevelt | 2024 State #183 Nation OR (2024 Roosevelt)
Hill had one of the best performances of the season – much less for a freshman – on Monday night against Jefferson. The 6-foot-2 point guard simply went off, scoring in every way possible, whether it was hitting long range bombs or getting to the basket. He was money from the free throw line and helped lead Roosevelt to victory over Jefferson. Later in the week, he sank a game winner against Cleveland. We’re looking at not just a future star but a current star, folks.
Raysean Seamster Raysean Seamster 6'6" | SF Roosevelt | 2022 State OR (2022 Roosevelt)
Speaking of current stars, Seamster had quite the game on Monday against Jefferson as well. However, while he did score 17 points and was unstoppable in transition, it was actually his work on the defensive side of the ball that made the most impact on the game. Seamster was all over Lamar Washington Lamar Washington 6'4" | CG AZ Compass Prep | 2022 State #128 Nation AZ both on and off the ball and his elite length and athleticism really helped limit the star guard on the offensive end.
Lamar Washington Lamar Washington 6'4" | CG AZ Compass Prep | 2022 State #128 Nation AZ (2023 Jefferson)
Washington bounced back in a big way in games on Wednesday and Friday night for Jefferson. He first re-found his shooting touch and dropped four dimes on Milwaukie, and then bullied his way to the basket for a rock-solid 23 points in a huge win at Grant. One area where Washington has really improved over the course of the season is with his rebounding, of which he currently averaged just less than 10 rebounds per game.
Mookie Cook (2023 Jefferson)
This week, Cook was as aggressive on offense as we have seen all season long. The 6-foot-7 swingman wasn’t just settling for jumpers but was instead attacking the hoop and either finishing above the rim or drawing contact. On Monday against Roosevelt, he completely took over for a stretch for the Demos and was virtually unstoppable. He was huge defensively in Jefferson’s win over Grant on Friday.
Adrian Mosley Adrian Mosley 6'2" | SF West Linn | 2023 State #269 Nation OR (2023 Grant)
We didn’t see the kind of ball movement we had seen from Grant all year long, but when things did break down Mosley was still able to shine. The biggest improvement we have seen in the 6-foot-1 guard’s game is his perimeter shooting and he confidently stepped up and knocked down four threes against Jefferson on Friday night. Mosley was extremely active on the boards and on defense, and dished out some nice looking assists.
