Michael McNabb Michael McNabb 6'4" | CG Grafton | 2024 State WI (6’4 2024 W, Grafton)- This was my first chance getting to see Michael play, and he definitely didn’t disappoint as he dropped 29 points in the opening game of the day. He showed off some impressive versatility, using nice change of pace to get to the rack, and then using a long stride to gain separation in order to finish. Michael shoots with his left hand, but was more than comfortable going up to finish in traffic with the right. He also stretched the floor with his shooting touch, able to run off screens or pull up off the dribble and knock down outside jumpers. Really liked the poise that he plays with, and how even though he’s not the quickest he uses his long stride to cover a lot of ground when attacking the basket.
Colin Hardrick Colin Hardrick 6'3" | CG Wauwatosa West | 2022 State WI (6’3 2022 G, Wauwatosa West)- Playing with a talented but young Tosa West team, Colin is now one of the experienced leaders of the team and is still the main scoring threat. He showed off his transition ability on Sunday morning by sprinting up the floor and throwing down multiple slam dunks in the open floor. His long arms and explosiveness allow him to elevate easily to finish above the rim. In the half court he showed a smooth shooting stroke from three, while also being able to get to his spots off the dribble. Colin is an unselfish player who made a lot of smart decisions with the ball, helping to set up more open looks for his team while limiting turnovers. He also gets after it defensively, and has a good understanding of where to be with his positioning on that end of the floor.
Caleb Siwek Caleb Siwek 6'1" | SG Rosemount | 2022 State MN (6’2 2022 G, Rosemount)- Playing for the lone Minnesota school in attendance, Caleb proved why he’s not only one of the best shooters in Minnesota, but also one of the best pure scorers. Taking on a tough Ferndale team on Sunday with plenty of length and athleticism, Caleb was knocking down shot after shot with a hand right in his face. He looked unfazed by the defender as he was knocking down stepbacks and catch-and-shoot threes from NBA range with ease. Step out too high on him? Caleb has the quick burst to blow by off the dribble and he’s a crafty finisher around the rim. I loved the way that he competed to move his feet with quick guards on the defensive end, and he battles with bigger players for rebounds on both ends of the floor. Holds two D2 offers and will likely see his recruitment pick up even more this summer.
Davion Hannah (6’4 2025 W, Milwaukee Academy of Science)- Not 100% sure on Davion’s height as there were no rosters, but he looked to be about 6’4-6’5 heading into his freshman year of high school. Davion has some impressive length as a young prospect, yet handles the ball very well for his size. He looks fluid and handles the ball with rhythm, able to shift defenders and create his own shot off the bounce. Davion has a few impressive combination moves down that he utilizes to create space or get to the rim, and once in the paint he’s an impressive finisher with his athleticism and body control. On the defensive end he blocked a handful of shots, and is also able to move his feet with shorter guards. Showed a lot of confidence going up against older competition.
Cole Hansen Cole Hansen 6'4" | SG Legacy Early College | 2024 State SC (6’4 2024 G, Wauwatosa West)- Playing with his new team at Tosa West, Cole looked like he fit right in. One of the things that really stood out to me was some of the vocal moments he had on defense, trying to fire his team up after they had a few rough possessions. That’s rare to see from an underclassman, let alone one who just transferred to a new school. Cole also provided his usual high percentage shooting, hitting from beyond the arc and mid-range. He’s capable of putting up points in a hurry as he has a smooth release and is capable of knocking down shots with a hand in his face. A fiery competitor with the skillset to match.
Dupree Fletcher Jr. (5’10 2024 G, KL Power 5)- The 2024 Kevon Looney Power 5 team was competing over the weekend, and Dupree Fletcher once again proved why he’s one of the biggest scoring threats in the 2024 class. He’s extremely quick and composed with the ball in his hands, and just finds ways to get through gaps in the defense to work his way into the lane. Dupree is able to finish over and around size with touch, making him a big time threat attacking the basket. Fletcher also looks comfortable stopping on a dime when pulling up for his jumper which he can hit at a high percentage.
DJ James (6’7 2022 PF, Milwaukee Bradley Tech)- DJ is still a work in progress on the offensive end, but continues to make plays on the defensive end. He’s a mobile athlete for his height, able to slide over into position to contest or block shots. DJ sent a few attempts flying off the court, showcasing great timing to elevate for his blocks. On the offensive end he’s still raw, but is an above the rim finisher who runs the floor hard for transition buckets. Should be a key contributor for Bradley Tech in the city conference this season.
