<p>The Palmetto State Basketball Championships are in the books for this year. This year saw several schools win there first state title in school history on the hardwood. Lets take a look at the games from Saturday on the final day at USC-Aiken right here. </p>
<p><strong>South Pointe HS defeated Hilton Head Island 52-50</strong></p>
<p>The Stallions finished the season at (15-5) under former University of South Carolina Gamecock Melvin Watson. The Stallions fought back and won this tight game over the Seahawks to claim its first ever state basketball championship. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930597" first="Quan" last="Peterson"]</strong> a multi sport athlete led the way with 16 points, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1041323" first="Jalen" last="Hicklin"]</strong> added 11 points while University of South Carolina football signee <strong>Omega Blake</strong> added 10 points and 7 rebounds. </p>
<p>The Seahawks making its first ever trip to the State Championship were led by UCLA football recruit <strong>Sam Summa</strong> with 18 points and 10 rebounds. UNC-Wilmington basketball signee <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="714481" first="Will" last="McCracken"]</strong> struggled today being in foul trouble all game long. McCracken finished the game with 10 points. </p>
<p><strong>River Bluff HS defeated Dorman HS 57-45</strong></p>
<p>The Gators got hot during the playoffs and rattled off 4 road wins. The Gators defeated Fort Dorchester HS, Carolina Forest HS, Dutch Fork HS and Dorman HS to win its first ever state basketball championship. Head Coach Ben Lee collected his 100th career win at the school.</p>
<p>The Gators were led by who else than <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927519" first="Myles" last="Jenkins"].</strong> Jenkins one of the top <strong>UNSIGNED SENIORS</strong> in the Palmetto State finished with 31 points in the win tonight. Jenkins really took over tonight for the Gators with his overall play. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840195" first="Jalen" last="Breazeale"]</strong> led the way for the Dorman HS Cavaliers with 14 points. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="976948" first="Zay" last="Foster"]</strong> a Benedict College Football commit added 8 points while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="569913" first="Earl" last="Burgess"]</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930598" first="Noah" last="Clowney"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="650234" first="Jordyn" last="Surratt"]</strong> all added 6 points a piece. The Cavaliers played in its 5th straight Class 5A State Championship Game. The Cavaliers were previously the only team to win a Class 5A State Championship winning 4 in a row until tonight. </p>
