December Week 2 Weekend Wonders/Recruitment Roundup

<p><i>Another weekend of action is in the books for private school players across the state with several players putting together some standout performances! Also several prospects made college decisions, so without further ado, let’s dive right in and take a closer look</i>.</p>
<p>The Trinity Crusaders made their way down to South Carolina to compete in the Bojangles Bash and on Friday night they picked up a big win over Grays Collegiate. Junior Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="577841" first="Freddie" last="Dilione"]</b> continued his outstanding play with a double/double of 24 Points & 10 Rebounds in the win.</p>
<p>Liberty Heights & Team Curry Center <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1008874" first="Jonas" last="Aidoo"]</b> will be taking his talents to Marquette University in the Big East as he announced his decision on Thursday. The 7 footer has seen his stock rise in a major way over the past year and it doesn’t take long to see why so many schools were drawn to his skillset and upside.</p>
<p>Wayne Christian Sophomore Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1008880" first="Jayquan" last="Curry"]</b> wasn’t able to lead his team to a win over Wayne Prep, but it wasn’t due to lack of production on his end. He dropped 23 Points in the loss, showcasing the scoring ability that we saw from him last year as he averaged 28 Points per game on the year.</p>
<p>If you haven’t heard of Wayne Prep Sophomore Guard <b>Kayleb Coles</b> before, now is the time that you will want to go ahead and write his name down! The talent and upside that he posses is definitely intriguing, he knows how to score the ball on multiple levels but also shows the effort on the defensive end.</p>
<p>Liberty Heights Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="932089" first="PJ" last="Edwards"]</b> is another player that made his college choice recently, deciding to take his talents to UCF. He’s strong, constantly attacks defenders and can score the ball on multiple levels.</p>
<p>The Top Unsigned Guard in the state will be off the board tomorrow when The Burlington School PG <b>[player_tooltip player_id="838021" first="Jamarii" last="Thomas"] </b>announces his college choice. UNCW, NC A&T and Eastern Kentucky are several of the schools that have offered.</p>
