#1 – Ben Gregg Ben Gregg 6'8" | SF Clackamas | 2021 #50 Nation OR (2021 Clackamas)
Gregg moves up into the top spot in the Class of 2021 rankings and it wasn’t just by default. The now 6-foot-10 Gonzaga commit has proven himself as a nationally ranked player and there isn’t much he can’t do on the court. He can score down low, off the dribble, and hit shots from deep while being a dominant rebounder and providing a presence as a shot-blocker. He could be the odds-on favorite to win 6A Player of the Year.
#5 – Trace Salton Trace Salton 6'5" | SF Lake Oswego | 2021 State OR (2021 Lake Oswego)
Salton bounced back from an injury-plagued sophomore campaign to help lead the Lakers as a junior. The rock-solid 6-foot-5 forward is a classic inside-outside guy who can use his body to do damage in the paint but has the skills to step outside and score out there as well. He’s going to be a Division I player and playing for USBA on the Grind Session and this season will help determine exactly where that is.
#11 – Jalen Grable Jalen Grable 6'3" | SF Westview | 2021 OR (2021 Westview)
Grable has continued on the development curve. There’s no question the 6-foot-4 senior is an incredible run and jump athlete and he’s proven that on both the high school and AAU stage. His perimeter game continues to evolve, especially with his shooting, and he’s a very underrated passer from the top of the key. Division I and II schools are showing serious interest and a big senior season will take him a long ways.
#12 – Josh Wart Josh Wart 6'6" | PF Amity | 2021 State OR (2021 Amity)
Wart could be one of the most under-the-radar player in-state hidden down in Amity. The 6-foot-6 senior is ambidextrous, built like a brick, and finishes plays above the rim with power. He’s been absolutely dominant at the 3A level and could have made a statement on the AAU circuit had this been a typical spring/summer. Wart is unquestionably a Division II-level talent as word is slowly getting out about his abilities.
#19 – Braden Hudgins Braden Hudgins 6'6" | SF Forest Grove | 2021 State OR (2021 Forest Grove)
The one area where Hudgins has really made strides is in his physical stature, as he’s really grown into his now 6-foot-7 frame. This has allowed the senior to do more damage inside both offensively and on the boards, while he has maintained his outside shooting touch. Once projected as possibly more of a wing, Hudgins can now be considered a possible stretch-four type for small-to-mid level college programs.
