While I wasn’t able to be live in attendance at the Nets on Fire facility, I was able to catch the action via a live stream on BallerTV. Below are the second set of standout players from the Cream of the Crop Top 60 game.
King Jhsanni-Wilhite, 2023, Archbishop Riordan: The Bay Area-based point guard showed tremendous feel for the game both as a scorer and distributor. The 6-foot sophomore has an “attack mode” approach the game where he takes advantage of transition opportunities, using his combination of speed and strength to get into the paint and score at the cup. In the half-court setting, Jhsanni-Wilhite has the ball skills and shiftiness to get by his primary defender and into the paint where he can draw the help defender and find an open teammate.
Gavin Hightower, 2025, Heritage Christian: Hightower was one of two class of 2025 prospects to make the Top 60 game and the reason behind that was his competitiveness and fearlessness on the court. The 6-foot guard navigates the floor well in both transition and half-court settings, including ball screen action. Hightower is a lethal pull-up shooter at the mid-range level where he goes from full speed to stop and pop on a dime while staying balanced. Hightower is also a high energy on-ball defender who makes his assignment work hard to get the ball up the floor.
Ben Roseborough, 2024, St. Hope Charter: The 6-foot-3 guard has an advanced scoring arsenal which features power finishing ability, both through contact and above the rim, to go along with a consistent perimeter shot and ability to create for himself in isolation. Roseborough has great size and strength at this point in his development and uses those traits well on the defensive end as a shot blocker and rebounder.
Seven Bahati, 2024, Los Altos: Bahati is a big time athlete with great size, length and long-term upside. The 6-foot-4 wing thrives in the open floor where he uses his combination of speed, long strides and leaping ability to glide his way to the basket and finish above the rim or around contact with a crafty layup. Bahati is a versatile defensive player at this stage of his development as his length and lateral speed allow him to guard just about every perimeter position. Bahati is one to keep an eye on over the next four years to see how his perimeter offensive skill set comes along.
