The 2023 Rankings in North Carolina have gotten an update following the grassroots season. Here's a look at the Top 10 Center Prospects from the summer update.

[player_tooltip player_id="854914" first="Callum" last="Richard"] | 6'11 | Gaston Day

Richard is a big man with an array of moves in the post and in the midrange area that he utilizes to create for himself on offense. Defensively, he's mobile enough to defend on the perimeter and in the paint making him more than just a rim protector. He'll be a name to keep an eye on at Gaston Day in 2020-21.

[player_tooltip player_id="1059735" first="Tymaureon" last="Outlaw"] | 6'7 | Person

Outlaw is a versatile big man with a ton of strength and athleticism that he uses well to create. He's just scratching the surface of what he can do and also has shown quite the stroke on the perimeter. He'll be a breakout name in the frontcourt at Person in 2020-21 after appearing on the grassroots scene with Garner Road 3SSB.

[player_tooltip player_id="959479" first="Donovan" last="Raymond"] | 6'7 | West Charlotte

Raymond willl be one of a few prospects to know in the West Charlotte rotation in 2020-21. He did well in the varsity rotation in 2019-20, posting 7.3 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 1.7 bpg and is due to see those numbers rise with his development over the spring/summer months. He's another breakout prospect in the frontcourt due to turn heads.

[player_tooltip player_id="1027995" first="Jaydin" last="Spillman-Martin"] | 6'9 | Winston-Salem Christian

Spillman-Martin is listed as a center, but he's much more than that given his ability to handle on the break and in the halfcourt and shoot the ball on the wing. He's a new face at Winston-Salem Christian that's due to grow in the 2023 class with his length and skillset. He'll be one of a few prospects in the rotation to keep an eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id="982146" first="Aries" last="Hull"] | 6'8 | Winston-Salem Christian

Hull is another new addition to the Winston-Salem Christian rotation in the frontcourt. Look for him to battle Spillman-Martin for minutes with his ability to protect the rim and be a presence around the rim on the offensive end. He holds an offer from Detroit-Mercy as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="944993" first="John" last="Baldwin"] | 6'9 | Freedom Christian

Baldwin is a prospect that continues to improve each outing. He's already got a high IQ for blocking shots and rebounding and is starting to find his way in the paint on the offensive end as well. He was a standout with [program_tooltip program_id='2078498' first='Flight' last='22'] Wilmington this past spring/summer and is due to make waves in the Freedom Christian rotation in 2020-21.

[player_tooltip player_id="998178" first="Sam" last="Martin"] | 6'8 | Apex

Martin is another big man prospect that continues to improve from an all-around standpoint. He's a lot more comfortable in the paint and on the perimeter and showed his development this past spring/summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2078529' first='Strong' last='Center'] Elite. He's a player to keep an eye on at Apex in 2020-21.

[player_tooltip player_id="945001" first="Bradlee" last="Wolf"] | 6'8 | Northwood Temple

[player_tooltip player_id="1046009" first="Deandre" last="Lynch"] | 6'3 | Rocky Mount

Lynch is a burden in the paint given his ability to play physical and battle on the boards for offensive rebounds. He's an emerging name on the hardwood that plays with a ton of effort and energy and always looks to make things happen when he's on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1059718" first="Darion" last="Rivers"] | 6'5 | West Charlotte

Rivers is another prospect at West Charlotte to keep tabs on in the frontcourt. He should serve as a solid reserve given his ability to battle on the boards and establish position inside. He's got room to grow still and show flashes of his skills with PSB Charlotte (Baldwin) this past summer.
