Reed Sheppard Reed Sheppard 6'3" | PG North Laurel | 2023 State #22 Nation KY , North Laurel – As a freshman, Reed led all 2023s in Kentucky in scoring at 21 points per game and that’s after he had a little bit of a slow start to the season. Sheppard plays with the ball in his hands the majority of the time and can get downhill and attack the rim in a hurry.
Gabe Sisk Gabe Sisk 6'5" | SG Ballard | 2023 #232 Nation CA-N , Ballard – As part of a loaded Ballard roster, the 6’3 combo guard didn’t get to put up huge numbers this past year but he has spent all summer putting up big scoring numbers and will be relied on next season to carry a heavier scoring load for the Bruins as a Sophomore.
Jacob Meyer Jacob Meyer 6'2" | PG Holy Cross Covington | 2023 #170 Nation GA , Covington Holy Cross – Meyer and Sheppard have a lot in common as bouncy combo guards who can score the ball a ton. Jacob just doesn’t have as much hype behind him as Reed does right now. If Meyer can improve his 30% three point shooting as a Sophomore, he could easily cross the 20 point per game threshold.
Dallas Roberts Dallas Roberts 6'1" | PG North Oldham | 2023 State KY , North Oldham – Roberts is another shifty guard who has been scoring at a high level since he started varsity as an 8th grader. Probably the best shooter in the group, Dallas put up over 44% from three last season and uses his high skill level and shot making to get buckets on everyone in the 8th region.
Hayden Llewellyn Hayden Llewellyn 6'2" | CG Corbin | 2023 State KY , Corbin – Hayden is a bit of an unknown right now but that’s because he just transferred back to Kentucky from Tennessee. But as a freshman at Jellico, he averaged 28 points per game and figures to be a big scorer for the Hounds as a Sophomore.
Grant Whitaker Grant Whitaker 6'3" | PG Murray | 2023 State KY , Murray – Another young guard who gets to play with the ball in his hands a lot, Grant averaged over 18 points per game last season and figures to score a whole lot of points before graduation. His shooting splits of 55/44/68 are impressive and I won’t be surprised if he shoots free throws much better next season.
