Three-point shooting is a big part of basketball as the team who shoots better from behind the arc usually wins. The ability to shoot the basketball can negate significant size advantage as it pulls big men away from the basket. The Unity Legends Showcase had plenty of players who knocked down shots from behind arc. Here are the top shooters from the Unity Legends Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id="1013005" first="Colin" last="King"], 6’6 SF Seton Hall Prep 2021

King only played in the second half of the first game, but he still proved to be one of the top shooters at the event. The 6’6 wing has a good looking stroke and has a quick release on his shot. King shoots the ball with confidence as he is unafraid of pulling it from distance. He does not just shoot the ball from distance as he showed off a nice mid-range game during the showcase. King is a good shooter on the perimeter who should help the Unity Legends 17U team.

[player_tooltip player_id="1018553" first="Jack" last="Spellman"], 6’8 PF Westfield 2021

Spellman proved that he is a good stretch four prospect at the showcase. The 6’8 forward knocked down a pair of three-pointers early in the first game as he showed off his sweet shooting stroke. Spellman has a good release and sets his feet before he shoots it. He has a solid mid-range game and can also handle the ball on the perimeter. Spellman is a skilled stretch four player who should help the Unity Legends 17U team this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1013110" first="Nick" last="Schroeder"], 6’1 PG Nutley 2022

Schroeder proved his ability to knock down shots behind the arc as he helped the Unity Legends 16U team pull off the 15-point comeback in the second game. The 6’1 guard has a quick release on his shot and only needs a little bit of space to get his shot off. Schroeder can shoot the ball off the dribble or off the catch, making him a dangerous option on the perimeter. He shoots the ball with confidence and got better down the stretch of the game. Schroeder is a good shooting guard prospect who should really help the Unity Legends 16U team.

[player_tooltip player_id="1018567" first="Wayne" last="Franklin"], 6’2 CG Wayne Hills 2022

Franklin had a great showing at the showcase as he proved that he could be affect the offense in multiple ways. the 6’2 combo guard shoots the ball with extreme confidence and is unafraid to pull up in transition. Franklin has a nice release on his shot and doesn’t need a lot of space to get it off. He moves well off the ball, but is also capable of shooting off the dribble. Franklin is a talented guard prospect who should have a good summer for the Unity Legends 16U Black team.

[player_tooltip player_id="901988" first="Andrew" last="Stack"], 6’3 SG Madison 2022

Stack is one of the top shooters in the 2022 class and showed why at the Unity Legends Showcase. The 6’3 shooting guard has a good release on his jumper and can get his shot off in a hurry. Stack moves well off the ball and sets his feet for his shot. He has a good mid-range game and can shoot the ball off the dribble. Stack is a good shooter who should help the Unity Legends 16U team this summer.

Other Players to Know:

[player_tooltip player_id="1018552" first="Ezra" last="Budashewitz"], 5’10 PG Westfield 2021

[player_tooltip player_id="1018569" first="Derek" last="Lagios"], 5’10 PG Delbarton 2022

CJ Stout, 6’4 SG Seton Hall Prep 2022
