Michael O’Connell 6”2 guard originally from Chaminade HS went to Blair Academy in NJ. After committing to play lacrosse at Maryland he got out of his letter of intent. Basketball has always been his first love and he will be doing it in the Pac 12 at Stanford. They are getting a skilled point guard with a killer instinct. Very smart and very tough player. Brings versatility. A player that just seems to always excel over expectations.
Jordan Rielly(2021) Also from Long Island. Plays for the Suffolk champion Brentwood HS. We have talked about Jordan being a freak athlete. He is a warrior on both ends of the floor. Blocking shots and then finishing with a monstrous dunk. He has been offered by Seton Hall, Pittsburgh, Kansas State, Georgetown, St John’s, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, Depaul, Wake Forest, Hofstra, and Stony Brook. Kansas has been seen at his games as well. He is a high school highlight film in the open court. I feel his options will keep growing.
Malcolm Chimezie Malcolm Chimezie 6'8" | PF Stepinac | 2021 State NY (2021) the Stepinac HS skilled post player can play with his back to the basket. He can face you up and shoot it. Finishes with both hands. Here is his impressive list of 16 schools. Marist, Manhattan, Cal Poly, Boston University, Fordham, St Louis, Robert Morris, Columbia, Sienna, Stetson, Stony Brook, Umass, Canisius, St Peter’s, Bryant, Fairfield.
Andre Snoddy(2020) this first team all N Y state player will be going the prep school route. He will play at the very prestigious St. Thomas Moore Ct. Andre had some early interest from St Francis, Hofstra, LIU. But has decided to roll the dice with some experience with the prep school program. A very versatile player who can get to the rim. A player I believe was hurt, by not only the pandemic but also by the transfer portal. It seems like teams are reluctant to sign some HS players until they see the full transfer list. Holding out for the college experienced player.
Darnell Evans (2020) a scoring guard from Amityville HS on Long Island will be heading South to play at Believe Academy in South Carolina. Darnell is a tough, fearless player who has deep range. Plays with a chip on his shoulder and will battle you all game.
T J Long. (2020) smooth lefty can really shoot the ball. He can play the big guard position and post up smaller players. Had interest from Ivy schools and an offer from Hartford as well as many D2 programs. Has decided to go prep and play at Canterbury Prep.
