As this continues into the summer, their stock will continue to rise so it’s best to get familiar with them now. Without further ado, let’s take a look at 2025 game changers and how they’ve contributed to winning this Spring.
Flavio Jean
Flavio Jean
Flavio Jean is one of our favorite players to watch because of his tenacity on both ends of the floor. Jean is always giving directions on offense, even from the bench. But when on the floor, Jean is as dynamic as a point guard as they come. At Made Hoops NYC Clash, Jean continued to show there is not many defenders who can keep up with his handle and quickness. Jean was able to keep defenders off balance on several occasions, resulting in tough finishes that also drew fouls. And Jean is never looking for just his shot. When there was a mismatch or blown coverage, Jean was quick to take advantage of it. NYC point guard play is always exciting to watch, and Flavio Jean is must-see this Spring and Summer.
Raymond Kinnard
Raymond Kinnard
Raymond Kinnard is a special talent with the basketball in his hands. For starters, Kinnard is quick and shifty with the basketball. Equipped with a quick release, defenders are never at ease when Kinnard operates. During the Made Hoops NYC Clash, Kinnard was quick to the rim a few times. Choosing not to dance on the perimeter too much, Kinnard was efficient using quick moves and getting into his shot. This Spring, Kinnard will have a plethora of chances to showcase his playmaking ability. And continue to build after a stellar junior season at Earl Monroe High School.
Tobi Babs-Ogundeji
Tobi Babs-Ogundeji
Tori Babs-Ogundeji is constantly getting better and this Spring is no different. At Made Hoops NYC Clash, Ogundeji showed his versatility by guarding the 4 and 5 man on the opposing teams. In addition, to limiting their opportunities at the rim, Ogundeji did an excellent job keeping bigs away from the boards. On offense, Ogundeji is always too much for bigger defenders because of his own strength and quickness. Ogundeji welcomes contact when driving or posting on the block. And because of this he was a frequent visitor to the line during the weekend. Ogundeji is a player to keep an eye on because of his steady improvement and physical tools.
Connor Igoe
Connor Igoe
Connor Igoe is a big body that knows how to throw his weight around. Igoe also, has great footwork and moves well at his size. Because of this size, it was almost impossible to keep Igoe off the glass at Made Hoops NYC Clash. But more impressingly, Igoe was active running in transition and filling lanes. And his teammates rewarded Igoe by feeding him. With interests from multiple schools in two sports, Igoe will be have a lot of eyes on him this Spring.
Siyani Arthur
Siyani Arthur
Siyani Arthur is exactly what one expects when they hear about a point guard from Brooklyn,NY. Arthur is strong quick and aggressive with the basketball. Always with his head on a swivel, Arthur is looking to create a play the moment the ball is inbounded. Plus, Arthur is a consistent shooter from outside and cannot be left alone. At Made Hoops NYC Clash, Arthur was relentless on the defensive end as well. Whether that meant picking up the opposing guard full court, or sprinting from one trap to another. Arthur really looks focused on showcasing how his strength quickness and aggression also translate on defense this spring.
Jayden Ramirez Jayden Ramirez 6’4″ | SF Christ the King | 2025 State NY is a fiery guard, who can put the ball on the floor and finish over anybody. Ramirez is strong and athletic for his size, but his desire to compete makes him a giant. For the Jayhawks, Ramirez is being called upon to knock down shots and be a leader on the Made Hoops circuit. Ramirez, with his time at Christ the King, looks ready to assume the role. At the NYC Clash, Ramirez was aggressive getting to the rim looking to draw contact. And continued to be a threat from long range. With offers from teams in the MEAC and MAAC conferences, Ramirez is an impact player to watch this Spring.
