Cameron Palesse Cameron Palesse 6'3" | CG Waukesha West | 2021 State #249 Nation WI – Waukesha West
Palesse didn’t get enough credit for what he did during the 2019-20 season. With Waukesha West replacing four starters, three of which ended up on college rosters, the Wolverines were still above .500 and reached sectionals behind Palesse’s guidance. Palesse averaged 24.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game as a junior along the way.
Valparaiso, LIU-Brooklyn, UW-Green Bay, Fairfield, Southern Illinois, Missouri State, UW-Milwaukee, UC-Davis, and Canisius have all offered Palesse thus far. A few high major programs such as Butler and Iowa State are also interested.
Donald McHenry Donald McHenry 5'11" | CG Milwaukee Academy of Science | 2021 State WI – Milwaukee Academy of Science
The Novas had a pair of Division 1 commits last season, but it was McHenry who was their leading scorer. McHenry put up 21.1 points and 4.2 assists per game on a 20-3 ball club that was perhaps favored to win the Division 4 state championship. An electrifying ballhandler with break-you-down-ability, McHenry is one of the best isolation scorers and creators in the state.
Marshawn Robinson Marshawn Robinson 6'3" | SG Waukesha South | 2022 State WI – Waukesha South
Still under the radar in the 2022 class, Robinson has been trying to turn around a struggling Waukesha South program. He averaged 13.2 points
[player_tooltip player_id="761401" first="Marshawn" last="Robinson"]per game as a sophomore. A strong, athletic guard who can get downhill and attack the rim, Robinson has many of the physical tools you look for in a top level guard. If his skillset catches up to the athletics, he’ll take off as a prospect.
Terryon Brumby Terryon Brumby 6'0" | PG Racine Case | 2022 State WIBrumby averaged 14.4 points and nearly three assists per game for the Eagles, who went 21-4 last season. With a knack for scoring the basketball, Brumby is a plus-length guard who can get it done in a variety of ways. Playing alongside some of the state’s top young talent, Brumby had two 30-point efforts as a junior.
Brian Parzych Brian Parzych 6'2" | PG Wauwautosa East | 2021 State WI – Wauwatosa East
He may not always score a lot of points, but Parzych makes winning plays on both ends of the floor. Parzych did lead Tosa East in scoring last season at 12.0 ppg and also added 5.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game. A blue collar prospect and energy player, Parzych holds a scholarship offer from Division 2 Northern Michigan.
Hayden Doyle Hayden Doyle 6'0" | CG Brookfield East | 2021 State WI – Brookfield East
Doyle put up big numbers last season, averaging 21.0 points per game for a 20-5 Spartan team. He had some monster games this season, scoring 42 against Milwaukee Vincent and 39 versus Menomonee Falls. Doyle is a lot more than just a scorer, however. A player that embodies the Brookfield East program, Doyle is a win at any cost type player and there’s no role too big or too small for him.
Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech are both on board with offers here.
Max Weisbrod Max Weisbrod 6'1" | CG Deforest | 2022 State WI – DeForest
Might be more of a point than a true combo guard, but Weisbrod has the size/frame to play off the ball as well. His instincts are wired to that more of a floor general as someone who makes sound decisions, but can take over a game offensively when needed. A player who made a big jump from his freshman to sophomore year in terms of production, Weisbrod averaged 13.4 points per game for the Norskies in 2019-20.
Kenny Garth Kenny Garth 6'2" | CG Westosha Central | 2022 State WIOne of the biggest risers in the state last season, Garth averaged 12.0 points and 2.9 assists per game. A plus-length guard who can really play
[player_tooltip player_id="945811" first="Kenny" last="Garth"]anywhere on the perimeter, Garth is comfortable running the show from the point or scoring off the ball. Garth has adequate positional size and a deadly pull-up game from mid-range.
Luther Smith Luther Smith 6'1" | SG Sussex Hamilton | 2023 State WIA prospect that could breakout in 2020-21, Smith played a reserve role for Hamilton last season. With the Chargers losing Carson Smith Carson Smith 6'1" | CG Sussex Hamilton | 2020 State WI , look for Smith to fill that void as an additional perimeter shooter. The 5-foot-10 guard made the most noise as a 3-point threat as a freshman, but will likely be able to showcase more of his skills as the roster clears out for him a bit.
Mark Wade Mark Wade 6'3" | PG Brown Deer | 2021 State WINot a household name, but a prospect that’s steadily gotten better over the last three seasons, Wade is a high-IQ player that provides a little bit of everything on the floor. He contributed 11.8 points per game as a junior and provided a steady floor presence as someone willing to make the right plays and create opportunities for his teammates.
