6’1 Quinn Denker Quinn Denker 6'3" | PG Bellarmine | 2020 State CA-N – Bellarmine College Prep, San Jose
Denker is a true point guard with solid ballhandling skills who plays with a lot of confidence. He sees the floor and pushes the break consistently, making plays for himself and others. He’s a fairly good shooter with 3-point range but his selection is a little shaky at times. He goes hard on the drive and is not afraid of contact. Denker is a leader who runs a team and competes at a high level. He has numerous Division II offers and considerable interest from Division I schools. He finds ways to win games and he lead his team to a tri-championship in the toughest league in Northern California (WCAL).
5’10 Jayelen Jones – St Joseph-Notre Dame HS, Alameda
Jones is an athletic one man with nice burst who is a confident ball handler. He excels in an up-tempo game and can get to the basket and finish. He shows a nice pull-up game in the half court. He can play off the ball as well as on it. Jones is an ok shooter and a solid driver. He looks to be a Division II prospect at this point.
6’0 AJ Mc Gee – Grant HS, Sacramento
McGee is a fast break waiting to happen. He will push the ball on every possession. He is effective in transition and has the ability to finish at the end of the break. He pulls up well in the half court mid-range area. He can shoot it with 3 range and has a nice floater in the lane. McGee has a nice first step and the ability to break down defenders one on one and get in the lane. He can be a bit too fancy at times. He is capable of playing the two guard as well. McGee is a high Division II prospect worth a look for low majors.
5’11 Brah’Jon Thompson – James Logan HS, Union City
Thompsn is a real athletic combo guard with very nice burst. He’s a confident ball handler who passes it well. He attacks and finishes nicely in transition. His favorite shot is the pull up on the break. (He also has a solid half court pull-up game.) Thompson is a good shooter with deep 3-point range but his shot selection is shaky. He is a solid driver with a nice hesitation move. He also plays two guard. Thompson is a low major Division I prospect.
6’0 Hayden Watts – El Camino HS, Sacramento
Watts has good ball handler and passing skills and he is a good decision-maker. He plays with confidence and has a high IQ. He has a mid-range game in the half court and he shoots well with 3-point range. Watts maximizes what he has and he is pretty consistent. He’s a low Division I prospect.
