Ladarron Cleveland Ladarron Cleveland 6'6" | CG Sanford Seminole | 2020 State FL had one heck of a senior campaign for Class 7A state runner-up Sanford Seminole. The 6′ guard is elusive as can be, super fast and can shoot it well. Averaging 16.1 PPG, 3.9 RPG and 2.4 SPG, Cleveland had just four games with less than 10 or more points. He had two 31 point outings including the opening tilt against Lake Nona and he posted a season-best 38 points in a playoff win over Apopka. The kid is a pure scorer. He has offers from Florida College Spring Hill College, Rollins College, JUCO’s Independence and Moberly with interest from DIvision I programs Illinois Chicago, Purdue Fort Wayne and FIU.
Michael Caswell Michael Caswell 6'0" | CG Paxon | 2020 State FL served Paxon well right behind Mr. Basketball Isaiah Adams Isaiah Adams 6'7" | PF Paxon | 2020 State #117 Nation FL . Averaging 8.4 PPG and 3.8 RPG, the 6’1″ guard has an offer in hand from Thomas University with interest from Brescia University, Eastern Florida, Blinn College, Hilbert College, USC Salkehatchie, St. Thomas University and Independence Community College. Caswell is an under the radar athlete who can hurt defenses in a blink of an eye. Just watch this highlight reel dunk from the Sun Bash Tampa (VIDEO) and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
—-Fellow Paxon 2020 guard Derrick Johnson stands at 6’3″ and was huge for the Golden Eagles as they made it to the state Final Four. He holds an offer from Edward Waters College and is still weighing his options. He’s a high IQ lead point man.
Chayse Culpepper Chayse Culpepper 6'0" | CG Stranahan | 2020 State FL was integral in Stranahan winning back to back state titles. The 6’2″ guard had 19 points in the state championship victory over Tampa Catholic last month. He was attacking and getting to the free throw line often. A quick and shifty guard, Culpepper is a true athlete who has been molded to be a tough nosed winner since a young age as the son of former NFL quarterback Daunte Culpepper. Florida Memorial has offered while Benedict College, UNC Pembroke, Tusculum and Coker are all showing strong interest. He’ll make an instant impact at a college program.
—Also at Stranahan, Inady Legiste Inady Legiste 6'6" | PF Stranahan | 2020 State FL and Daquion Vickers Daquion Vickers 6'1" | CG Stranahan | 2020 State FL were major factors for the Mighty Dragons consecutive titles. Legiste is a banger down low at 6’7″ and simply alludes guys to grabs boards and put buckets back. Vickers is a lightning-fast 6’2″ guard who loves to run the floor and finish at the rim. Eastern Florida, Queens College, ASA College Miami, Broward College, North Dakota State College of Science and Young Harris College have all expressed interest in both Legiste and Vickers.
Alex Vertus Alex Vertus 6'0" | CG Ft. Lauderdale | 2020 State FL made the move from Cardinal Gibbons to Ft. Lauderdale to wrap up his high school career. The 6’1″ guard has a nice mid-range touch, can get going as a passer and attacker and is simply is a strong and all-around athlete. Vertus leads an offense the right way. FAU, Mercer, Alcorn State and Western New Mexico have all shown interest.
Joshua Simons Joshua Simons 6'3" | SF Bartow | 2020 State FL is weighing his options currently but NAIA’s Webber and Florida College have offered and a large group of Division III schools have offered as well. A highly intelligent kid, the 6’4″ forward is a bruiser and someone who has gotten better in his role year and in year out. Averaging 13.0 PPG and 8.7 RPG, Simons helped Bartow win a state title this season. He is very strong and his craftiness near the rim is fun to watch. He’d make any program happy.
Corey Sawyer Jr. Corey Sawyer Jr. 6'3" | CG Oviedo Master's | 2020 State FL is a gamer. The 6’3″ Oviedo Master’s guard can score in bunches as a long-range shooter, creator and driver to the hoop. He plays with endless pace and averaged 16.7 PPG and 5.8 RPG as a senior. Sawyer is drawing interest from Division II’s Catawba College and Cedarville, NAIA’s Cardinal Stritch and Ave Maria. He’s simply too crafty of an athlete to not be at a college somewhere in the fall hooping.
—Other Master’s 2020 prospects to look at are 6’11” center Joe Barrett. He holds an offer from Ave Maria and interest from North Greenville and Young Harris. A smart and true big man, Barrett is a reliable inside presence. Also, 6’5″ forward Jed Alexander is an intriuging prospect with plenty of heads up play as a shooter and sound defender. He has interest from NAIA Mt. Vernon Nazarene.
