Many players continue to standout, lead their teams and leave a legacy proving that they are one of the top players in the area. The players below have stepped up big time for their respective teams while making a name for themselves.
Third Team:
Sr. Isaiah Bolden, Cordova – The unsigned senior guard is a strong and physical guard who plays with a lot of energy. Bolden has a tight handle and loves to push the ball. The lefty guard is a great scorer who is unselfish and can find the open man with ease as he averaged 25.4 points and dished out 3.1 assists.
Sr. Kyrie Dunn, Burbank – A shifty guard who can really pass the ball and finish at the rim. Dunn is a high IQ player who can really push the ball and run an offense.
Sr. Tiler Fears, Folsom – A high academic prospect who proved that he can play against good talent. Fears recently picked up an offer from UC Merced but should garner more interest after a quality senior season.
Sr. Handre Reinecke Handre Reinecke 6'6" | PF Rocklin | 2020 State CA-N , Rocklin – A player who stepped up big time for the Thunder and ended up having a strong senior outing. A very efficient scoring who displayed a 65% field goal percentage and averaged a double-double all season long with 13 points and 13.3 rebounds.
Fr. Varick Lewis, Monterey Trail – Lewis plays beyond his years. A very versatile player who gets it done offensively and is a great defender already. Lewis has a nice jump shot from the midrange and beyond the arc with a tight handle and great vision. There is no reason why he should not be highly recruited during his senior season.
So. Darrion Williams, Capital Christian – At 6-foot-6, Williams was a force for the Cougars. Williams filled the stat sheet and did a lot of the little things to help win games. After twenty-eight games, the standout sophomore scored 11.2 points with 2.8 assists, 7.8 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 1.8 blocks.
