The players below have stepped up big time for their respective teams while making a name for themselves.
Second Team:
Sr. Xavier Brown Xavier Brown 6'4" | SG Sheldon | 2020 State CA-N , Sheldon – A phenomenal player and leader. Brown has committed to play for The College of Alameda. Brown is a gritty player who loves to compete. The senior was exceptional for Sheldon, helping the Huskies win a lot of games this past season.
Sr. Marquis Hargrove Marquis Hargrove 6'3" | SG Franklin | 2020 State CA-N , Franklin – A big-time player who had a great senior season. Hargrove is a bouncy guard who can really score the ball, scoring 19.1 points. A strong guard who is unselfish and loves to play defense can be an immediate impact at the next level.
Sr. Dontrell Hewlett Dontrell Hewlett 6'3" | CG Sheldon | 2020 State CA-N , Sheldon – Hewlett is a high-level prospect who can compete for a LM or MM Division 1 program as well as a Division 2 school. A big piece to the Sheldon’s winning season, Hewlett’s game has captured the attention of many coaches and he recently just picked up an offer from Cal State Stanislaus.
Sr. Ryan King Ryan King 6'5" | SF Whitney | 2020 State CA-N , Whitney – The big man for the Wildcats was a great leader on and off the court all year long. King is an outstanding player in the paint, scoring 14.5 points, capturing 9.5 rebounds to go with 1.5 blocks. Still unsigned and will be an impact player when an opportunity comes as he continues to improve on his game.
Jr. Sione Lose Sione Lose 6'4" | SF Capital Christian | 2021 State CA-N , Capital Christian – At 6-foot-4, the junior loves to push the ball in transition and get to the basket with a quality shooting ability. Lose helped Cougars to an undefeated 12-0 conference record, scoring 13.4 points with 3.1 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 2 steals per contest. It will be a scary sight for the opposing team next season.
Sr. A.J. McGee, Grant – McGee is a great floor general and leader. The senior displayed great court vision who takes high percentage shots and is crafty around the basket. McGee is a winner and still unsigned. One of the best pure guard in all of California.
