This tournament is held at Fairdale High School and hosts some of the best talent around the state of Kentucky. There are three out-of-state high schools that will be in this tournament as well.
In this article, I will be listing the Upperclassmen (Juniors & Seniors) to keep an eye on for this tournament. Only showing statistic averages if team’s KHSAA stats are up to date.
Upperclassmen to Watch in KOB
#8 Trinity (Louisville) vs #4 Collins – Thursday @ 4:30pm
- Ethan Hodge (Trinity) – Junior
- Dayvion McKnight (Collins) – Senior – WKU Commit – Averaging 20.7 points thru 6 games.
Martin County vs Fairdale: Thursday @ 6pm
- Trey James (Martin County) – Junior
- Charles Ward (Fairdale) – Senior
#22 Bardstown vs #17 North Oldham – Thursday @ 7:30pm
- JJ Traynor (Bardstown) – Senior – Louisville Commit – Averaging 17 points thru 6 games.
- Justin Powell (North Oldham) – Senior – Auburn Commit – Averaging 27 points thru 3 games.
#14 McCracken County vs LaRue County – Thursday @ 9pm

Obviously there are WAY more upperclassmen that are really talented. For this article, I just took one upperclassmen player from each Kentucky high school in the KOB. I am looking forward to catching these guys and the rest of the upperclassmen starting Thursday, December 19th at Fairdale High School!
