This tournament is held at Fairdale High School and hosts some of the best talent around the state of Kentucky. There are three out-of-state high schools that will be in this tournament as well.
In this article, I will be listing the Underclassmen (Freshmen & Sophomores) to keep an eye on for this tournament. Only showing statistic averages if team’s KHSAA stats are up to date.
Underclassmen to Watch in KOB
#8 Trinity (Louisville) vs #4 Collins – Thursday @ 4:30pm
- Miles Franklin (Trinity) – Sophomore
- Aaron Thompson (Collins) – Sophomore – Averaging 10.8 points thru 6 games.
Martin County vs Fairdale – Thursday @ 6pm
- Brady Dingess (Martin Co.) – Sophomore
- Dalton & Hunter Hicks (Fairdale) – Freshmen

- Ian Higdon (North Oldham) – Freshman – Averaging 9.8 points thru 4 games.
Trotwood-Madison (OH) vs #6 Ballard – Friday @ 6pm
- Jack Edelen (Ballard) – Freshman
#18 South Oldham vs #1 Male – Friday @ 7:30pm
- Kaleb Glenn (Male) – Freshman – Averaging 15.5 points & 13.0 rebounds thru 5 games.

Obviously there are WAY more underclassmen that are really talented. For this article, I tried to take one or two underclassmen player(s) from each Kentucky high school in the KOB. I am looking forward to catching these guys and the rest of the underclassmen starting Thursday, December 19th at Fairdale High School!
