The class of 2021 forward had terrific performances against state powers Brookfield Central and Kimberly, gearing up to lead Nicolet to another state tournament run despite missing this past travel season due to injury.
Holding three scholarship offers going into his junior season, Graham appears primed to be one of the top breakout players in the state in 2019-20. He broke down his first three scholarship offers with Prep Hoops Wisconsin:
DePaul: “They have a nice team right now. I love the campus. I liked watching the players when I was there.”
Rutgers: “I don’t really know much about them. I follow them on Twitter. I see what they do and saw their trip to Spain. Good team, good coach.”
UW-Milwaukee: “It’s a hidden gem. Nobody really knows about it, but once you go there, you don’t want to leave. It’s beautiful. I love coach Baldwin (Pat Baldwin) and coach McGee (Terrance McGee).”
Marquette, Minnesota, Miami (OH), North Dakota State, South Dakota State, Air Force, Wright State, and Bradley have all been expressing interest in Graham this fall. The 6-foot-7 forward is coming off a visit to Marquette for their Midnight Madness.
“It’s a lovely school,” he said. “I would love to go to Marquette. Beautiful campus, people are great, coaches are great. The players are really good dudes.”
“I really don’t know about their interest in me yet,” he continued. “We haven’t really talked about that.”
Graham thinks his next offer could come from the Missouri Valley.
“I think Bradley is pretty serious,” he said. “They just tell me to keep working.”
Graham has no favorites at this time. He plans to play out the upcoming travel season before making a decision.
“I want high academics,” he said. “My mom wants me to go to a good school. If I don’t get to another level, I’ll be set for life.
“I’m looking for a program where I can play four years, somewhere I can have fun.”
