Most know the top-tier players like Kyree Walker and Dalen Terry but here are some under the radar players who will jump into the 2020 rankings for the 1st time and may even move up more the next update.
Xzavier Lino SF 6’5 Sunnyslope
-Could be the top catch corner 3 shooter in the state. Great length and sneaky athletic.
Caleb Alonso SF 6’6 Desert Ridge
-Lefty has a pure clip. Has great range and can put the ball on the floor and finish.
Byron Brown SF 6’4 Sahuarita
-Breakout player at my camp seems to be just scratching the surface. Strong scoring wing with bounce!
Miles Sulka SG 6’3 Mountain Pointe
-Top-tier shooter with incredible stamina. Track runner is a true late bloomer and could have a monster season for the Pride.
Robby Devries CG 6’4 Millennium
-Texas transfer is a big guard with a consistent perimeter stroke. He also can play on the ball and makes plays.
Cam Faas SF 6’5 Arcadia
-Bigger wing who has one of the prettiest shots in the state. He has deep range and sat out last year and looks to break out this year.
Jordan Hope SF 6’3 PV
-Strong scoring wing gets a little better each year. He plays hard, can shoot it and he is tough.
Pablo Gutierrez F 6’5 Sabino
-Long forward does many things well and will compliment Cesar Saenz perfectly and Sabino could make a 3A title run.
Michel Milambu SF 6’0 Tempe (Pictured)
-Quick fast high motored defensive wing gets downhill. Defends multiple positions and true glue guy on a team.
Matthew Whisler PG 6’0 Chaparral
-Highly skilled shooting lead guard will get his chance to show his talents this year. He was stuck behind a deep group of seniors last year and should break out.
