However these youngsters turned heads all spring and summer with their play. Despite not playing one second of varsity basketball yet, the potential is clearly evident and they will be ones to keep an eye on.
2025 Guard Eli Ellis showed that he can flat out shoot the ball, he does a nice job of setting his feet and getting his shot off quickly before the defense can recover. The son of a coach, you can tell that he not only has an advanced IQ for the game but also puts it a nice amount of time working on his game.
2025 WBC Elite Guard Rodmik Allen was another young player that showed they have a chance to be special. He’s has the skills and confidence already that you just don’t see from a player his age. Basketball runs in his bloodline as we found out he’s related to current NBA player Kadeem Allen, so Rodmik is definitely want to keep an eye on for the future.
2024 Flight 22 Guard Kenny Vera comes from a family of athletes with his oldest brother playing football at the D1 level. His skillset is further advance than his brothers were at the same age while he possess the same size and body type, the potential he has to be good is exciting without a doubt. When we got the chance to see him, he was playing the PG spot and doing outstanding job of running the show for his team as well as scoring the ball.
2023 71st HS & CP3 Forward Derrick Green: You probably saw him in video footage last season when his team too on Lebron James Jr and the Blue Chips squad in a national championship game. Well we got the chance to see him again during the team camp session and we were very impressed with what he brought to the table. He’s comfortable in the post with his back to the basket but can also step out and knock down some jumpers, has plenty of upside and will only get better.
2023 DSJ Elite & Team Felton Guard Tremayne Parker: The younger brother of Kwe Parker, he already is drawing comparisons to his older brother as an 8thgrader due to them having similar athletic abilities. The talent and upside is there, if he can remain locked in and surround himself with the correct situations, he can be a special talent. We must say that comparing him and his older brother at the exact same age, he is definitely more advanced but only time will tell.
2023 Red Storm Guard Joshua Bullock: Our first opportunity to get a really close look at him came during the Big Shots Raleigh event. The confidence that he plays with on the court is something that we really liked, he doesn’t back down from a challenge and pressured his opponent into turnovers but using some solid defense. Can fill it up on the offensive end but doesn’t seem to be a selfish player at, will be one to keep an eye on.
