Collin Tanner – South Granville – 2022
Collin Tanner will be a new face on the South Granville Vikings roster this upcoming season. He’s a 6-foot-4 wing that can light it up from deep and on defense, he looks like a player that will make an impact with his wingspan and quickness. Look for him to play a role in their success this season.
Keenan Itejere – Grace Christian School – 2021
Keenan Itejere is a 6-foot-5 forward that’s making some headway at Grace Christian School. He’s a long and wiry forward prospect that makes an impact on the boards and on the interior with his shot blocking ability. As he finds his bearings, look for him to be an impact player their rotation.
Michael Kaleta – Grace Christian School – 2022
Michael Kaleta is another impact prospect for Grace Christian School at the guard position. He’s a confident scorer that won’t hesitate to get to the rim and finish strong. He showed off a number of moves for his squad on Friday that caused him to really stand out.
Collin Himmbelberg – Chapel Hill – 2021
Collin Himmelberg is a 6-foot-3 guard that’s learning to handle the basketball more. He’s a sharpshooter already that can fill it up from deep. He’s developing into an all-around playmaker and as he does, look for his recruitment to blossom. He’s heard from Longwood, Hampden-Sydney and Roanoke College already.
Jermaine Burnette – Chapel Hill – 2021
Jermaine Burnette is an emerging prospect at the point guard position at 6-foot-1. He doesn’t have any schools on his recruitment list yet, but he’s sure to get some looks with his ability to get to the rim with his length and athleticism. He scored on a number of solid drives through traffic despite his size, showing a fearlessness at getting to the rim all weekend in the Patriot Summer Shootout.
Tristin Harkins – Pine Forest – 2022
Tristin Harkins is a true gamer alongside senior guard Marquis Eskew in the Pine Forest rotation. He’s a 6-foot guard that can knock down 3-pointers in a hurry and also get to the rim with his underrated athleticism. He’s an athlete that can score on all three levels and should start hearing his name in recruiting circles.
Jordan Jones – Pine Forest – 2023
Jordan Jones is a 6-foot-4 wing player that’s off to a fast start at Pine Forest as well. He showed off a solid awareness for creating shots for himself in a rotation of scorers. He can spot up and knock down the 3 and get to the rim and finish through contact. He’s a young prospect that should start getting some looks at the next level.
