- Xavier Guyton – Bronson High School: Guyton is what I’d like to call a “bully” guard. Only 5’11”, but he can really get in an opponents head. The 2021 hooper is extremely vocal on defense, does a great job at calling out what the offense is doing. When HIS team is on O, he’s strong enough to back down other guards in the post. Solid driver to the rim, as well.
- Triton Tennyson – Forest High School: Another Wildcat senior, Tennyson established a nice presence within the paint, and shows a lot of patience when looking to get a shot, off. His on-ball defense disrupted whoever tried to get a few dribbles, in. Forest would be wise to match him up against some of the better scorers they’ll see, this season.
- Noah Mackey – Newberry High School: Mackey is new to the Panthers squad, but he’s looking to impact in a huge way. The rising-junior isn’t afraid to go up and snag offensive rebounds in traffic. Love the way he barrels through defenders when driving through the lane. He makes you think twice about stepping in front of him for a charge.
- Jamari Chisolm – Trenton High School: Another solid offensive rebounder, the 2022 wing plays like a big man. Never allowed himself to get boxed out. Loved battling in the paint to earn his offensive putbacks. Should be a guy that Trenton will continue to help grow into a leader, over time.
- Micah Hubbard – Bronson High School: This rising-senior has to be a force for the Eagles to make a push, this season. Hubbard is one of the tallest on the squad at 6’1”, and showed his length in both halves as he was able to earn a block during transition-defense. He can hit the trey from deep. He’s strong enough to finish in-traffic at the cup. Look for him to be one of Bronson’s top options.
- Jaron Riley – Trenton High School: The 2022 guard plays with a lot of heart and doesn’t back down from anyone. A bit on the shorter side, Riley still has a solid handle on the ball and welcomes the chance to take the ball to the cup & score. Whether by a quick floater in the lane, or a little touch off the glass for a lay-in, Riley is a guy you can trust to get a bucket.
