The Big Shots MB event was a good one without a doubt! There was plenty of talent on the floor and teams from around the country came in to participate. We got the chance to see a ton of players so stay locked in over the next week as we will be bringing you some outstanding coverage, now lets begin with some of the top performers that we got the chance to see.
DTA 2021 Forward Omarion Bodrick: His height, wingspan and athletic ability are all some things that we like about his game. Throughout the day he played with a pretty high motor and seems like he’s enjoys competing. We saw him make plays above the rim on both ends of the floor as he gets off the floor quickly.
Big Shots WVA 2020 Guard Kadin Mcclurg: From the moment the game began, he went to work! He has a quick first step and is cash from three Point land as he hit a bunch of treys on the day. Once he drives to the basket, he is what we would call a crafty finisher, he can finish with dunks or maneuver around defenders for layups.
Dallas Seawolves 2020 Guard Thailand Elder: The fact that he was one of the top performers on a team that was absolutely loaded with talent is impressive. He can score the ball from all three levels and doesn’t seem to have to extend much effort to do so. On the defensive end of the floor he is a lock down defender, he moves his feet well and uses his wingspan to come up with steals and deflections.
BWSL 2022 Forward Jaden Daughtery: One of the youngest players on the floor, he was also one of the more productive players that we saw the entire day. He has outstanding hands and doesn’t make unnecessary movements but simply flat out gets the job done. The majority of his buckets came in the point but we also got the chance to see him step out and make some plays.
No Guts No Glory 2021 Wing Randy Freeman: Personally I love players that play the game with a certain level of confidence and he does exactly that. You can constantly see him talking on the court to opponents , teammates and even at times himself. Scoring the ball is something he does well and at a high rate but he brings energy and effort on both ends of the court. He had one of the top plays off the tournament with a poster dunk over a taller defender on a fast break
