Off to a tremendous start the Rocklin Thunder basketball team is off to a 16-1 start. With some very good wins against West Campus, Jesuit and Amador Valley. The one lost coming against a very powerful and well ranked Clovis West Team.
This years team is lead by super sophomore Darius Kendell who is averaging about 18 point per game and is carrying the team at all levels. Darius is a very skilled guard who can score at a high level. Has a nice permiter jump shot and takes contact in the lane well..
With a good support in Handre Reinecke who is a very athletic PF these two have lead Rocklin to a great start.
The Rocklin Thunder are ranked 20th in the state of California and have played well this year to earn that.
As of now Rocklin is ranked number 1 in their C.I.F San Joaquin Division 2.
With Good teams like Folsom and Oak ridge in conference, Rocklin has a very good chance to continue their winning and take that momentum into the second half of season.
The next game for the Thunder is on January 4th against a very good Folsom team. After that they will play Granite Bay and the second half of season will be under way.
