As Sophomores, players should be thinking about developing as much as possible to put themselves in position to be a household name as they get older. 4 year schools or junior colleges will begin to reach out and show interest in them once they enter the AAU circuit following their high school season. These sophomores listed below are putting themselves in a position to get on the radar for colleges as they have all improved their stock heading into their second high school season. Here are a few stock risers out of the class of 2021.
Matthew Elliott – Jesse Bethel HS 5’10’ Guard
Matthew is a sharpshooter that is starting to improve other areas in his game. His ball handling and defense got a lot better over the summer which will improve his stock.
Jacob Albrecht – Dixon HS 5’8′ PG
High IQ point guard who makes a really good decisions with the basketball. He does a great job of distributing the ball to his teammates.
Luke Westermeyer – Clayton Valley HS 5’11’ PG
Luke is a very skilled point guard who does a great job shooting off the dribble and creating for his teammates. He will have a great year for Clayton Valley.
Kevin Barnes – Jesse Bethel HS 6’4′ Forward
Barnes is definitely a project but he has worked hard over the spring and summer. The more experience he gets the better player he will develop into.
