More 2019 Prospects you should know
Red Storm PG Dakari Johnson: Since he made his decision to attend Washington Academy as a Prep year student, he has picked up some legit interest at the D1 level. During the month of July he has suited up for Red Storm and performed well overall, what you see from Dakari is what you get. An efficient guard that’s not going to show a ton of emotion but is effective and flat out knows how to win games.
Red Storm SG Jordan Love: Another player that decided to do a year of prep school prior to the live periods, he will play out next season at Beckley Prep. His ability to shoot the ball at a high level and at 6’5 that has D1 coaches very interested, recently he picked up two D1 offers and will looks to add to that total over the final live period.
DHA Aqiis Horton Point Guard: One of the smaller guards in his class, he doesn’t allow his height to deter him from being as good as he wants to be. The motor that he plays the game with is refreshing, he doesn’t take any plays off and I’ve seen him on numerous occasions playing through all types of pain just to help his team win.
DHA Jalen Person Point Guard: The toughness he plays with as well as the tempo he plays at are things that will help him to propel himself as a college prospect. He can score the ball in various ways but also does a nice job of setting up teammates and getting after it on the defensive end of the floor .
Carolina Wolves Forward Julian Steinfeld: He continues to improve and although this was only his first summer playing AAU basketball, he grew in a nice way and is continuing to come into his own. Expect for colleges at multiple levels to drop in and check out Julian this season, he has all the tools to be a nice player on the next level and he has a nice amount of upside.
