NTBA 2018 & 2019 Standouts
Team Impact F/C 2018 Johnathon Wright: Made same plays out of the post on the offensive and defensive end of the floor. Does a nice job of keeping the ball high while finishing inside, as well as scoring the ball at a nice rate with his back to the basket.
Flight 22 Fayetteville 2019 Guard Adrian Elliot: Likes to play the game in an up-tempo style, he pushes the pace and uses his speed to try and force the defense back on their heels. Scoring wise he didn’t have his best day but overall he had a solid showing, has good lateral quickness that he uses on the defensive end of the floor.
Flight 22 Fayetteville 2019 Guard EJ Bethea: Another player that had some solid showings throughout the weekend. His size for a guard is solid as he is about 6’2, 6’3, he can knock down shots and is becoming more efficient with his ability to finish through contact.
Team Impact 2018 Wing Devontae Gathers: One of the more athletic players that you will see in the state, he had his moments where he made the crowd say ohh and ahh. He scored the ball at a solid rate and didn’t slack on the defensive end of the floor. Overall he was solid and will make the program that he chooses at the college level happy, he is expected to sign his LOI at the end of the month.
Team Impact 2018 Wing Romeo Jordan: Versatility is one of the things that you have to like about what he brings to the table, at about 6’5 you can play him on the wing or even throw him in the post during some points of the game. He showed the ability to knock down shots from midrange and three point land, as well as making some plays above the rim.
Fayetteville Rockets 2019 Guard Ricardo Polk: Did a nice job of running the PG spot for his team, we know that he can score the ball at a nice rate, but he took on the challenge getting his team involved instead. This is something that we like to see from him as he will be a PG on the next level, he seems to play with more poise and under more control this season.
