Prospect Introduction: Ethan Bray (2020)
2020 Community Christian guard Ethan Bray heads into his sophomore season for the Mustangs.
He averaged 7.0 PPG, 8.2 APG and 2.2 SPG for Community Christian as the team lost in the state FCAA title game in double OT by two points.
“I’d say I learned to really value every possession as it’s vital to winning,” Bray told Prep Hoops Florida. “This upcoming season will be my third year playing varsity, second-year starting at point guard. I expect to lead CCS as we surprise some people this season.”
The 5’8″, 125-pounder called his biggest strengths his defense and quickness. He says he wants to focus on his mid-range shot and finishing ability over bigger defenders.
Bray’s goal this fall is to get some interest and put his name and the school out there. He has no offers just yet.
“I’ve been with my team for three years now,” he said. “This summer was so hard as we put in work daily on the court and the weight room, our practice intensity and seriousness has taken a bigger step in the right direction.”
Basketball started for Bray in kindergarten but he didn’t take it seriously until the 4th grade.
Community Christian moves into Class 3A-District 5. That means Bray will be able to showcase his game on a bigger stage. Look for the Mustangs develop their talent.
