Top 250 Expo Prospect Report: Princejudah Collins (2019)
I’ve met Collins before at a tourney over the summer, and his zeal for the game was just as strong then, as at the Expo. Just a junior at West Orange, he has plenty of time to grow his skill—but he’s already showing great signs of growth.
Q: What was your experience like in Daytona at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo?
I really had a great time at the Top 250 Expo. I thought the coaches and trainers were very knowledgeable. They wanted to teach us a lot and motivate us.
Q: Where did you first hear about it?
I heard about the Top 250 on Twitter and Instagram. I also heard about it through a teammate.
Q: What was the best thing you learned?
The best thing I learned at the camp was where my skill level is. I’m happy with where I’m at, but I know I can get better. The coaches and trainers at the camp motivated me to take it to the next level and worker harder.
Q: What positives in your game grew? What negative in your game did you notice and try to fix?
Something positive in my game that grew were my ball-handling skills. The coaches had us do some different drills rotating the ball behind our back and bounce the other ball at the same time. It was challenging, but helped me to handle the ball, better.
Q: Would you recommend the expo to your peers? How come?
I would definitely recommend the Expo to my peers so that they could challenge themselves, play against other talented athletes, and receive good training.
Q: What is your role looking like this season?
My role this season is to lead our basketball team to States. I plan to motivate, dominate, assist and support my team.
You can tell by the attitude that Collins is looking to take his game to new heights, this year. Look for him to have a breakout season.
