Top 250 Expo Prospect Report: Miguel Carrasquillo
This Haines City junior is primed to start the second half of his high-school campaign on the right foot. I reached out to Miguel to speak about his time at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo.
Q: What was your experience like in Daytona at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo?
The Prep Hoops Expo was a great experience. I got to play against a lot of high competition and really see where my skill level is at.
Q: Where did you first hear about it?
I received an email about the upcoming showcase.
Q: What was the best thing you learned?
The best thing that I learned was that there are others who are very talented, so I should never stop working.
Q: What positives in your game grew? What negative in your game did you notice and try to fix?
I think I got much better at seeing the floor and distributing the ball. I also still need to work on my long-range shot.
Q: Would you recommend the expo to your peers? How come?
I would definitely recommend this camp to my peers who I feel can compete at a high level. It’s a great way to be seen. It’s a great way to see where your talent is really at.
Q: What is your role looking like this season?
I believe I will have a big impact this season. This might be my highlight year.
Confidence is not short in Carrasquillo, at all. Hopefully these self-affirmations come true for this hungry guard. He has the drive!
