Team Preview : Arlington Country Day Post Graduate
Prep Hoops SC and Swanny’s Roundball Review took in the action this past Sunday at the All-American Jamboree in Apopka, FL. Prep Hoops takes a peak at the new look Arlington Country Day Apaches Post Graduate team in this article.
The Apaches are coached by Terrell Eskridge this season. Eskridge coached last season at Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Ludowici, GA. Here is a look at some of the Apaches this season.
D’Moi Hodge played last season at Faith Baptist Christian Academy. Hodge a scoring guard hails from the British Virgin Islands. Hodge can fill it up in a hurry for the Apaches. Hodge can score the ball at all 3 levels on the floor. Hodge 6’3 attended Jones HS (Orlando) a few years back. Hodge played AAU last summer with the South Georgia Kings.
I have personally seen Hodge on several occasions over the past season and he can literally put a team on his back and carry them. Several times at Faith Baptist Christian Academy Hodge made over 10 three pointers in a game.
Alex Diaz is back for a another season with the Apaches. Diaz 6’10 native of Columbia plays below the rim in the post for the Apaches. Diaz is a better fit for more of a half court style play finished around the cup today.
Tino Sebalj is a new arrival to the program from Croatia. Sebalj a perimeter player knocked down several 3 pointers today for the Apaches. Sebalj 6’8 lacks any contact and has the typical euro style of game.
Prezmek Zygmunicak (2019) arrives here via Poland. Zygmunicak 6’1 is a one-trick pony shooting guard. Zygmunicak played last season with Hodge at Faith Faith Christian Academy. Zygmunicak needs time and space for his shot.
