Florida Top 250 Expo Prospect Report: Jeremiah Outley II (2020)
2020 Crossroad Academy guard Jeremiah Outley II was one of 33 underclassmen and 86 total prospects in attendance at the Prep Hoops Florida Top 250 Expo on Saturday, Sept. 30th at DME Academy in Daytona Beach.
I sat down with Outley II to talk about his time at the expo.
Q: What was your experience like in Daytona at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo?
A: My experience at Prep Hoops was great. The coaches took us through numerous drills and let us compete after.
Q: Where did you first hear about it?
A: I first heard about the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo from my AAU coach (Shawanna Moye).
Q: What was the best thing you learned?
A: The best thing I learned at the Expo was really how to be a team player.
Q: What positive in your game grew? What negative in your game did you notice and try to fix?
A: Some positive things in my game that grew was transition defense. Some negative things I wanted to fix was talking more on the court.
Q: Would you recommend the expo to your peers? How come?
A: I would recommend the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo to my peers because someone brought it on too me. Also, it was just an all-around good camp and showcase.
Q: What is your role looking like this season?
A: My role this season is to get my boys to a state championship, be a leader on and off the court, last put Crossroads on the map.
Outley II is a speedy 5’8″ guard who made the most of his time at the expo in Daytona. He handled the ball with ease and made nice cuts to the basket. He’ll play a major role for Crossroad Academy as a sophomore.
