Recruiting Report: Miles Coleman (2018)
Heading into his final high school season, Dwyer forward Miles Coleman holds one offer from UNF.
The 6’5″, 187-pounder also has drawn interest from Jacksonville, Stetson, Lipscomb, Army and Fort Wayne.
He says he learned how to handle adversity better as a junior averaging 14.8 points per game for the Panthers. Coleman also pointed to his jump shooting and defense as two things that improved a year ago. He’s aiming to be a top leader and take his team all the way to a state title.
Coleman played this summer with Ball4Lyfe United, a program he’s been with since his freshman year.
He started playing basketball at age 10. In terms of his biggest strengths, Coleman called that his ability to score the ball anyway possible. He wants to continue to improve his defense.
The Panthers excelled last season going 22-7, but lost in the Class 8A region quarterfinals to Blanche Ely. Coleman showed off his improved leadership skills this summer with Ball4Lyfe and I expect that to carry over into the high school season.
