Prospect Spotlight: Crisnel Francois (2020)
2020 guard Crisnel Francois has a really good burst in his game.
The Suncoast sophomore is part of a Chargers group that went 21-6 last season and appeared in the Class 6A region semifinal.
At 6’2″, 175 lbs., Francois got his feet wet last season for Suncoast.
“I learned a lot this past season, for example, I’m not always going to be the best player on my team so I had to adjust my game a little,” Francois told Prep Hoops Florida. “The part of my game that grew the most was finishing at the basket and making one move and go. My role for next season is to be a leader and help my team make it to states.”
Francois spent his first summer with Nike Team Florida. He focused on expanding his game on both ends of the floor and getting more exposure.
He started his basketball life at age 7. Francois pointed to his ability to finish by the rim and take care of the ball in crucial moments as his biggest strengths. He’s looking to improve his shot around the arc, being more vocal and his overall defense.
No offers or interest have come yet for Francois, but his game is expanding. Playing on a successful Suncoast group and gaining invaluable experience with Nike Team Florida will help his game. Francois is a 2020 prospect to keep a close eye on.
