Post Grad seeker: Joshua Colon
Colon had a solid high school career and is looking to keep the momentum he gained late in the AAU season going, by finding the right post grad fit.
Joshua, a spot up shooter by trade had ball handler responsibilities at stretches with his summer ball team. He showed an ability to be in the right place at the right time, by following up missed shots with some impressive put-backs around the basket. Colon was the effort guy on his team, asked to shut down the opponent’s hot hand, all while giving his team all the energy in the world. Joshua is the first to dive for a loose ball and is a scrappy defender.
A very impressive aspect of his game is his team first attitude. When not on the floor, Colon is the first to stand up on the bench to congratulate his teammates and keep them engaged. Joshua has the key traits needed to be a team leader.
Colon, who’s hobbies include, fishing, 2k, and writing, is the type of player you want in a locker-room. From bonding with his teammates on road trips to doing everything that is asked from him. “The brotherhood that basketball creates is my favorite part of the game” Colon says.
The right attitude will take you far, but Colon has the game to match. He definitely deserves a shot to show his skills at the next level, he currently holds an offer from Webber International University, for now he is focused on finding the right post-grad opportunity.
