Prospect Spotlight: Dylan Wilson (2018)
Attacking the basket is not that simple. 2018 Plant guard Dylan Wilson is very talented in that regard.
The 6’4″, 210-pounder is a load when he drives to the rack. He has no offers currently, but he’s generated interest from Southern Utah and Jackson State.
He says he learned core leadership skills as a junior while improving his jump shot and mid-range game the most.
“My role for next season is to be the leader and a scoring machine for Plant,” Wilson told Prep Hoops Florida.
Anyone that can be a scoring machine certainly has a chance. So Wilson’s expectations for himself are pretty impressive.
He is currently elevating his weaknesses and working on being more consistent. He goes to the gym two times a day including 6:45 in the morning and 9 PM at night.
Starting his basketball career at age 6, Wilson is looking to improve his 3-point shot and consistency the most this season.
The 2018 Plant guard is part of a very athletic and high flying group under head coach Joe Willis. The Panthers will be a much better team this season and Wilson will get plenty of opportunities to showcase what he can do.
