Prospect Introduction: Jameon Harris (2021)
Jameon Harris is not your typical 8th grader.
The rising freshman at Rickards spent his 8th grade year at West Oaks where he transformed his game and showcased his 6’3″, 180-pound frame.
He already holds an offer from Stetson. When you watch him play, he looks older and plays that way as well.
Last season, he faced a few obstacles, one being an ankle injury that kept him out for two months. However, Harris has bounced back and he’s 100 percent now.
He says he learned how to play on the varsity level and how to make a pick and roll successfully this past season.
Harris is running with Showtime Ballers for the second straight summer. He says he’s focused on being able to knock down a jump shot consistently.
Starting his basketball career at age 7, he pointed to his ability to get to the basket and finish as his biggest strength.
Harris wows you with his aggression to the hoop and his advanced skills. He is taking his jump shot to new heights and that should allow him to fit right in as a freshman for Rickards. Harris is a 2021 prospect that belongs on everyone’s mind in the state of Florida.
