Recruiting Report: Joshua Jerome (2018)
This upcoming senior season is everything for 2018 forward Joshua Jerome.
The 6’6″, 210-pounder played at Everglades as a freshman, Somerset as a sophomore and Everglades again last year. He averaged 13.1 points and 5.4 rebounds last season. This winter, he’ll finish off his varsity career with Pembroke Pines.
He says he has earned the bulk of his looks during travel season, playing with Taylored Athletes the past three summers. He wants to draw more attention at Pembroke.
“This past season was a great learning experience for me,” Jerome told Prep Hoops Florida. “I learned how to become a leader for my team. I’ve become a lot more vocal and made my teammates better. My role for next year at Pembroke Pines is to be a leader and an all-around player, score, rebound and handle the ball whenever needed.”
Jerome’s is working on getting bigger, faster and stronger this summer while also becoming more consistent in everything he does.
Starting his basketball life in 6th grade, Jerome has made this game his passion from the first time he touched a basketball.
Currently, he holds offers from Arkansas State, Wright State and St.Louis. Jerome also has interest from FGCU, Gardner Webb and Winthrop. This kid is a hard worker who makes the most of his opportunities. He simply loves the game of basketball and at his frame, he’s going to do damage at Pembroke Pines.
