DME Sports Basketball Camp: Standouts Part 2/3
Blake Hinson
Without question, the most dominant post-player present at DME. This rising junior is a force for Deltona High, able to push the break, as well as bang down-low for easy lay-ins. He reminds you of Boogie Cousins in his game-style, a bit. His jumper is solid, definitely has a high-motor, and can be the one who you put your team behind. Showtime Ballers has a good man in Hinson.
Tyrese Williams
This rising senior is going to be a key man for Tampa Bay Tech next season, no doubt. The guy has bounce you have to see, while being able to have a consistent jumper from anywhere on the floor. His body-style brought Tayshawn Prince, to mind. Definitely quicker. Look for Williams to do great things coming off the wing. Last season: 13 points, 12 rebounds, and nearly four blocks—a game. And Williams has room to improve.
Jalen Deadwyler
*Insert “DE-FENSE” chant*. This is what Jalen is about. Too many times, I saw Jalen just being alert on D and making life extremely hard for the ball-handler. He’s there person you want at the top of your best “lock-down” lineup. And after finding out that basketball is his way of life via “Prezi”, believe that Jalen won’t be a guy to hurt the team. His play lets you know he cares.
Mo Krardly
Krardly is someone who dabbles in every aspect of the offensive game. He can give you a bit of everything. The step-back jumper, a decent handle into a crossover, hustle on the offensive rebounding front, as well the touch needed for tip-ins. Krardly was at DME camp considering a post-grad route. He has the size, the skill, the IQ. Could be a move worth thinking to the fullest.
