2020 Rankings Breakdown: Beltway Guards Part 2
As the breakdowns for the 2020 player rankings continue, take a look at the breakdown from the Beltway area guards part one here, and frontcourt here.
Below, we continue our breakdown of the Beltway area guards that were included in the rankings:
COREY DYCHES | 6’3 G | POTOMAC/TEAM DURANT | #13 OVERALL
One thing that Dyches has done, and will likely continue to do is win games. He’s been the catalyst for 15U Team Durant, who won EYBL Session 1, the Southern Jam Fest, and Pitt Jam Fest. Dyches is a strong competitor. He’s unselfish, and defends at a high level.
ISHMAEL LEGGETT | 6’2 G | ST. JOHN’S/TEAM TAKEOVER | #14 OVERALL

We saw signs of how good Leggett could be at the end of last season, where he came in and produced in limited minutes for St. John’s. Leggett will be hard to take off the floor for the Cadets this season. He always plays hard, and simply finds ways to consistently contribute on both ends of the floor.
DIMINGUS STEVENS | 6’5 G | WILSON/DC BLUE DEVILS | #15 OVERALL
Stevens is probably the most talented shot maker in his class, and can stretch the floor as well as any wing we’ve seen. He’s also 6’5, and skilled enough to handle pressure and find teammates.
CHUCK HARRIS | 6’1 G | GONZAGA/TEAM TAKEOVER | #19 OVERALL

Harris is another young player who we liked despite limited minutes as a freshman. Harris will definitely find additional time on the floor this season, as he is a solid defender, and a reliable playmaker. Look for the skilled, sneaky athletic lead guard to significantly increase his production, and gain valuable experience this season.
CURTIS JACOBS | 6’2 G | MCDONOGH/MARYLAND 3D | #20 OVERALL
One of the best athletes we’ve seen in the class, Jacobs is still very raw, but has a high ceiling. Jacobs is very strong, and his confidence is sky high right now. Expect him to break out this season, and continue build off the momentum he’s beginning to generate.
