Prospect Spotlight: Ryan Cole (2018)
For 2018 Deltona guard Ryan Cole, he called his junior season an up and down one.
The Wolves finished 16-11 with an appearance in the Class 7A region semifinals before losing to Edgewater. Cole averaged 6.4 points and 2.3 rebounds on the season. The 6’1″, 190-pounder says what he learned most was to stay patient and play his game.
Cole is focused on opening the eyes of college coaches and playing consistent this summer. He’ll be running with the Florida Prospects, his first year with the program.
Starting his basketball career at age 5, Cole pointed to his shooting ability and decision making as his biggest strengths.
He wants to improve his overall defense and leadership this season.
Cole has no offers or interest at this point, but with determination and hustle showing with the Florida Prospects, he’ll earn some looks. Deltona is a legit program and Cole is in for a key role for the 7A school. He’s a 2018 guard to remember.
