Prospect Spotlight: Immanuel Crump (2018)
Dealing with a knee injury last season, 2018 forward Immanuel Crump is back to full health.
The 6’7″, 195-pound Norland forward showed off his ability last weekend at the E1T1 Invitational against the E1T1 17U squad. He routinely got in the paint and finish lay-ins for his longtime Elite Ballers team.
He says his focus this summer is to continue to work on his ball handling. He’s played for the Elite Ballers for five years now and calls them a family. Crump wants to work on getting his name out there this summer.
Starting his basketball life at the age of 11, he’s quickly come into his own as an offensive attacker and key rebounder. Crump pointed to his jumping and ability to run the floor as his biggest strengths.
With no offers or interest just yet, Crump was likely being forgotten about because of his injury woes a year ago. But, he’s at 100 percent and will continue to be the main piece for his AAU team this summer.
Crump is a hard worker and he should start to draw low Division-I and Division-II interest before the travel season is over.
